Notice about COVID-19
At Performance Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, patient safety and well-being has always been our first priority. Patients should be assured that we employ the highest standards of safety and infection control protocols. We are actively monitoring developments and news regarding local outbreaks and will take further action if necessary.
If you are experiencing a cold or flu-like symptoms, have traveled to/from high-risk areas, or have been in potential contact with a person known or suspected to have COVID-19, please call our office before your appointment. We have also implemented a screening process with our staff to identify if visitors entering the office may be a potential risk. Unnecessary visitors may be asked to leave or wait in their car.
The Texas Medical Board (TMB) has adopted a new emergency rule which states that a mask must be worn by both the patient and physician or the physician’s delegate during in-person encounters. Effective immediately, we will be enforcing this rule within our practice! Please wear a mask to your appointment including while in the waiting room, exam room, and check in/out.
We are dedicated to keeping our patients, our office, and our community healthy. As the recommendations are updated from the leading health organizations, we will modify any protocols as necessary so that we can continue to provide a safe environment.
